Beth is a multi-disciplinary practitioner, educator, and director with over 20 years of experience dedicated to the well-being of children and families. As the Director of Animal Assisted Therapy Services, Inc. in Milford,Connecticut, Beth bridges the worlds of clinical practice, expressive arts, and alternative healing. She integrates animal-assisted interventions and sound healing into rigorous,evidence-based therapeutic frameworks.
An accomplished academic and lecturer, Beth serves as an Assistant Professor in the Applied Sciences Department at SUNY Delhi. Her expertise in integrative therapies has made her a sought-after speaker at prestigious institutions, including Yale University.Beth’s foundational knowledge spans multiple disciplines, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Music and German from Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), alongside Master’s degrees in Social Work from Sacred Heart University (SHU), Recreational Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), and Education from the University of New Haven (UNH). Additionally, she holds the highest certification in sound healing from the Center of Light Institute of Sound Healing and Shamanic Studies in Chester, Vermont.
Beyond her clinical and academic achievements, Beth is an accomplished professional musician, vocalist, pianist, and guitarist, with two critically praised singer-songwriter albums to her credit. She lives her philosophy of holistic connection on her small farm in upstate New York. There, alongside her husband, she manages organic gardens,practices farm-to-table living, trains her dedicated therapy animals, and hosts immersive sound healing retreats.
