Dawn Harmer, LMSW
Dawn is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 20 years of experience in the human services field, working with individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds. She earned her MSW from Walden University and became licensed in 2020, continuing a lifelong commitment to supporting others through meaningful, client-centered work.
Her practice is grounded in a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, combined with evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and grounding techniques. She strongly believes in meeting each client exactly where they are-emotionally, mentally, and spiritually-with empathy, respect, and encouragement.
She creates a safe, supportive space where they can share time and energy while navigating the complexities of life together. Dawn identifies her role as walking alongside you-not to "fix," but to help uncover your inner strength and resilience. Dawn encourages clients to show up authentically and be prepared to engage in the work necessary for growth, healing, and lasting change.
Whether you're facing life transitions, emotional challenges, or simply seeking clarity, Dawn is here to support your journey with compassion, honesty, and purpose.
